Meditation

Meditation

Meditation is one of the pillars upon which the School is built. It is offered to students of the School who wish to pursue further studies in Practical Philosophy.

The meditation was introduced to the western world over fifty years ago, and uses an ancient technique arising from a long-standing tradition in India. It is a very simple mantra system and it brings peace, clarity and extra energy.

Experience varies from person to person, however, those who meditate regularly have reported increased alertness, awareness, happiness, a brighter outlook on life, a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, more tolerance and occasions throughout the day when there is simple harmony and tranquility. In due course, meditation helps to uncover that knowledge which allows one to live truly and happily.

The School provides on-going support for meditating students through regular Tutorials, Study Days and Retreats.
